Popis: The ungulate reintroduction center (“Alibi”) was built in 2012-2015 on the territory of the state natural reserve "Altyn Dala" (Kostanay region, Zhangeldy district), and is under the operational management of the ACBK. This territory was selected as the most suitable for reintroduction of wild ungulates - kulans and Przewalski's horse - during a comprehensive expedition of national and international experts. At the end of March 2024, an emergency regime was introduced in Kazakhstan in a number of regions due to floods. As a result of a powerful flood, the reintroduction center was flooded. Two acclimatization pens, where Przewalski's horses were supposed to be placed after their arrival, were badly damaged. Much of the equipment, furniture, etc. that was in the house was also lost.
